  • Guinea pigs are very intelligent so need plenty of mental stimulation.
  • Toys, hiding food and forages are required to keep them entertained. Changing the layout of the cage can keep your guinea pig occupied.
  • Their teeth constantly grow so safe toys should be provided for them to chew on.
  • They are very sociable animals. Keeping them in same sex pairs is best.
  • They are now fully domesticated and do not live in the wild.
  • Guinea pigs make up to 11 individual sounds!
